Tell me what I need to know. I never played the first one. Does tuning do anything productive to the cars? In Forza Motorsports you can notice some differences in handling and grip, but in an arcade game is it worth spending any time messing with it?

Rivals. When it gives me someone not on my friends list does that mean I've beaten all of my friends (I have a ton playing it).

It is funny to me when one of my friends is in a Ferrari F40 for a rivals challenge and I'm in a BMW Z4.

There doesn't seem to be a career mode per se, but there appears to be a pile of events to go back to and race in different cars. I've not yet figured out where to buy cars. I just get them gifted and win them.

Other than the 15% bonus for having it off is there any reason I'd turn off rewind mode?

How about damage? I mean this is an arcade open worlder where half the time you're driving through fields. Why on earth would anyone turn damage on?

I seem to be having a hard time acrruing much in the way of skill points. The first point came easy. How much do I have to do to get more skill points? What's the best way to get them?

How do I join a club? I know what one I want to join. How do I join it?

Yes Tuning does have a difference but I only bother with gearing since I rarely ever do time trials and most of the time I just change car and mod than tune the one I am using.

In rivals it priorities friends and club members but only if they offer a legit challenge being in Club Oppo I always have a challenge.

You buys cars from the Autoshow in the hub.

I turn off the rewind for the personal challenge.

People do race with damage on amazingly but that seems to only be in private races where there are rules or when you do cops and robbers. This should seriously be a real mode.

Don't worry about the skill points. Except for fast travel any where and the photo challenge icon they don't do much.

Different clubs have different rules. Some except anybody, some require a friend to be in the club.

Tuning makes a difference. I don't really bother tuning the cars, since I can adapt enough to drive it for the 4 races for the championship, but when my friend comes over and plays, the first thing he does is tunes and tweaks the car to his liking. And then I do agree it's easier to drive... Meh.

I don't bother with the Rivals stuff. I'm in the Oppo club, so that's where it pulls all of mine from.

The career is yes, just doing the 15 Championships to unlock the Horizon Finale.

You can buy cars from the autoshow. Or if you want to run a Championship that you don't have a car for, you can just buy it from a selection of qualifying cars that way. It will tell you if you have enough money before you select it.

I leave Rewind on, and I have damage on visual only.

Skill points come from doing things like hitting lampposts, garbage bins and other easy debris. Drifting, near misses, doing jumps and getting air, drafting and not slamming into other cars/walls also banks them.

You can join a club at a certain point in the game, I don't remember when it was anymore. It will tell you when you can, and shows you how to find and join them. Oppo has one, just search for Oppo and it comes up.

Tuning does make a difference. But if you do not know what your doing its pointless, since just like RL tossing better things on a vehicle doesn't make it better unless you tune the vehicle for everything you changed.

But your lucky the community has you covered. You should just be able to download one of the many tuning calculators available.(excel sheets that do the hard math) Using one of those you will give you a good base tune to use with a good balance that you can further tune for your play style and ability. The biggest savior with these is the gear ratio calculators

There is also a iOS app that makes it even simpler (Forza tune)

The more helpers you have turned off the more money and xp you earn and it makes you a better player.

here is a basic one for ya enjoy.

I've learned enough to know what I'm doing for the most part. Gear ratio tuning is actually simple. Adjusting the springs is much harder.

I'm already in the club it was just a matter of how do I get in it in the game.
